TSS 7/14: VB gets two big Peach Belt wins, XC heads to the D2 regionals

On this edition of The Sports Squad, Bell Ringer Sports Editor Justin Gray is  joined by regulars J.Ben Haynes, Avery Jaynes and Patrick Motes. Gray and the gang talk about AU volleyball, AU men's basketball, AU cross-country, college football and their weekly pick-'ems. VB, led by Jada Suguturaga, the national leader in blocks per set, picked up two huge wins last weekend in Peach Belt play; the two cross-country teams are off the NCAA D2 regionals, and men's basketball, led by Demitri Gardner, played two exhibitions to tune up for the start of the season. The Sports Squad is produced in the TVC Lab at the Summerville Campus of Augusta University.
