2024 presidential election results

Early this morning, Donald J. Trump reached the required 270 in the electoral college system and will be sworn into office January 2025.
In Georgia, our 16 electoral votes went to the future president. Locally, Richmond County had a 65% voter turn out as per the Secretary of State’s website. In addition, below is the current breakdown for Richmond County and some of the neighboring counties’ votes:

Richmond: 56,545 - Kamala Harris 26,439 - Donald Trump
Burke: 4,979 - Kamala Harris 6,014 - Donald Trump
Columbia: 32,582 - Kamala Harris 53,610 - Donald Trump
Jefferson: 3,669 - Kamala Harris 3,758 - Donald Trump
McDuffie: 3,935 - Kamala Harris 6,558 - Donald Trump

Aiken: 30,455 - Kamala Harris 51,898 - Donald Trump
Barnwell: 4,075 - Kamala Harris 5,597 - Donald Trump
