The Sports Squad 5/19: Metress and four Jaguar seniors are special guests

On this bonus edition of The Sports Squad, Carlos Rodriguez, sports editor of the Bell Ringer, interviews Augusta University men's basketball coach Dip Metress and his four seniors about their miraculous 72-71 win over North Georgia on Feb. 22. Rodriguez and his guests also preview the Jaguars' home finale for the 2022-23 season on Feb. 25. Those AU seniors are: guards Tyree Myers, Miguel Arnold, and TSS regular Darren Lucas-White; and center Tyshaun Crawford, whose steal and free throw at the end of the game produced the one-point win at North Georgia. The four seniors have a 120-36 record in their time at AU. The Sports Squad is a production of Augusta University’s Department of Communication and Bell Ringer-Phoenix Media.
