Staff report
Jazmyn Wheeler had 14 kills and Sophia Kruczko added 11 to lead Augusta University’s volleyball team to a straight-sets win at Flagler on Friday, Oct. 27.

The win, the sixth straight for the Jaguars, improved AU to 6-1 in the Peach Belt Conference and 20-4 overall.
Jaguar Coach Sharon Quarles earned her ninth 20-win season in Augusta.
Kayli Cleaver added eight kills, and Janvier Buggs had 29 assists. Wheeler had her usual excellent all-around game, adding 13 digs. On the defensive side, Rylie Harris added 10 digs and Ally Thees nine. Savannah Davis had five kills and three blocks.
AU hit at a .255 clip, compared to .000 for the Saints (3-6, 6-16). The Jaguars had a huge advantage in kills with 43, compared to 20 for Flagler.
Molly Boyd led the Saints with five kills.
The only set that was close was the second. The Saints led late 23-22, but Buggs got three straight service points to help the Jaguars pull out the set. Buggs had an ace for 24-23, and then Kruczko won it with a kill. The other two sets were much less dramatic.
