Fall 2023 graduation is closely approaching. On Dec. 14, Augusta University graduates will be having their commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center.
Parker Ray, a senior Communication major, is graduating with her bachelor’s degree this December.
“I am beyond excited to be graduating. I feel like I am in a unique position because I have already started my career while being a full-time student,” said Ray. “Although I will miss my professors and classmates that I have formed relationships with, I am super happy to be able to give all my focus to my career.”
Ray plans to work at Stacie Social post-graduation. She began working there as an intern in January of 2023, and was offered a position there a month later.
“I am so excited to continue working with the amazing team here and am looking forward to taking on more clients once I graduate and have more time,” said Ray.
Stacie Social is a marketing service that helps businesses navigate social media marketing. Their services range from social media management, videography, photography, email marketing, content creation and consulting.
Ray said that Augusta University has helped her build relationships that will benefit her in the future. AU has also given her the skills needed to go out into the field as a well-rounded individual.
“I know that the connections I've made here at AU will last a long time and will always be there to help me,” she said.
