The Augusta University Writing Center is hosting a “Mindful Writing for a Healthier You” workshop for the general public on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

This interactive, virtual workshop combines mindfulness theory and writing in order to promote emotional well-being and fulfillment. Participants will learn about mindfulness and simple, healthy practices they incorporate into their every-day lives. These mindful writing exercises are simple, healthy strategies that can help you relieve stress and keep you centered, especially during such a stressful time.

Writing consultants Sabrina Nacci, Rachel Beal, Rachel Visintainer, and Melinda McKew designed and will be presenting this workshop on behalf of the writing center.

The workshop is taking place through WebEx on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 6-8pm. The event is free and open to the general public. To register and receive the event links, contact the writing center at WRITINGCENTER@augusta.edu.
