TSS 6/12: Metress gives inside account of AU hoops win over GSU

AU men's basketball coach Dip Metress joins The Sports Squad to talk about the Jaguars' 82-77 upset of NCAA Division I foe Georgia Southern last Friday night (Oct. 20). TSS host Joshua Picklesimer is joined by Carlos Rodriguez, Patrick Motes and Justin Gray, who covered the exhibition. Rodriguez and Motes rap about the Jaguar men’s cross-country team, which won its fifth straight Peach Belt title on Oct. 21 at North Georgia. The AU volleyball team improved to 19-4 with a win at rival USC Aikens on Oct. 24, as Coach Sharon Quarles nears her ninth 20-win season at Augusta. The Squad also dishes on the AU golf teams, and the panelists also talk about the upcoming Georgia-Florida college football game—with their predictions. Ethan Balducci is the producer; Dr. David Bulla is the coordinating producer, and Jasmine Garcia is the lab coordinator.
