TSS 6/11: Esports kicks off its new arena at the Georgia Cyber Center

On this edition of The Sports Squad, host Joshua Picklesimer and the panel discuss the grand opening of Augusta University’s esports arena. Joshua is joined by Noah Bowers and Brionna Law to discuss esports at AU. Also, Rachel Carman, Patrick Motes and Justin Gray join The Squad to discuss cross-country, volleyball and men’s basketball. The Jaguar men’s cross-country team will be going after its fifth straight Peach Belt title on Oct. 21 at North Georgia. The AU volleyball team improved to 16-4 with a win at UNC Pembroke on Oct. 17. And Jaguar men’s basketball kicks off its 2023-24 campaign with an exhibition at Georgia Southern on Friday, Oct. 20. There also are brief takes on the Atlanta Braves and UGa. football.
