Augusta University has announced through email that an in-person commencement ceremony for all spring, summer and fall graduates will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, at James Brown Arena.

Times have not been determined; however, each college will be scheduled in the morning, afternoon or evening. The ceremony for each college should only last one hour and 30 minutes.

Students are allowed up to four guests each. The guests must arrive and sit together at the same time. Guests are to adhere to all coronavirus precautions like mask-wearing and symptom-checking.

The graduates will be checked-in and immediately directed to their six-foot distanced seats on the arena floor. They are allowed to walk across the stage to receive their diplomas and take a photograph with AU President Brooks Keel at six-feet apart.
