By Skyler Mitchell |Staff writerA shooting took place at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home at 11:20 a.m., resulting in the death of Jazna O. Timmons, 34, an Augusta University employee who had been working at the nursing home.Timmons was found dead in the parking lot of the nursing home after the gunshots were heard.The shooting has been classified as a domestic violence attack, with the suspect being identified as Timmons' husband, Richard Lyle Timmons Jr. He is 5’10, with a medium build and a short twist in his hair, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office news release.Timmons is considered armed and dangerous and was last seen driving a 2010 white Chevy Traverse with the tag number VFM 202.The attack took place near the Augusta University Health Sciences campus at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. The residence halls on the Health Sciences campus, Elm and Oak Hall were placed on lockdown until the Richmond County Sheriff Office deemed it safe to lift the lockdown.As of this time, the suspect has not been apprehended.
