By Kait Fruechting |ContributorOver 200 students attended the Spring 2018 Club Fest on Tues., Jan. 9, which showcased about 50 student organizations in addition to the Greek Life on both Summerville and the Health Science Campus. The organizations ranged from the Gaming Club to the Student Government Association and various sororities and fraternities. Club Fest allowed students new and old to discover opportunities for engagement, campus participation and networking.Students were drawn in with music, the promise of free food, and an inviting atmosphere. They wandered from table to table, inviting the organizations to put their best foot forward and to promote not only the work they do but also the fun which is had through the engagement and participation. While students enjoyed the food, music and environment, the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity decided to step it up a notch. Led by Michael Parker, members of Phi Beta Sigma created a stage and entertained the crowd with a step show of their own.To see them in action, click the bold text to view footage recorded by fraternity member and senior communication student Christopher Shipman.
