By Callie Sirmans |Staff reporterAn AU custodian found two fountains overflowing with bubbles on Jan. 16 at 4 a.m. The affected fountains included the fountain in front of University Hall and in front of the Maxwell Theatre.Later in the day, another custodian started clearing the bubbles out of the fountain."This happens every once in a while, and sometimes, they even put green [coloring] in the fountain as a trick. They did both fountains this time, which causes more work for us," said the custodian.Since there is an event happening tonight, the fountains needed to be brought back to their normal look.While there is no information on who caused the prank, there are cameras in the area that could show who put the bubble-causing substance in the fountains.
