Jaguars meet Royals for SE regional title

The Augusta University men will take on Queens University in the final of the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional on Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. at the Levine Center on the Queens campus in Charlotte, N.C. The second-seeded Jaguars (28-5) carry a 15-game winning streak into the regional final after winning their first two games of the tournament in overtime.

AU rallied from 21 points down to force overtime against USC Aiken and won 93-89 in overtime on Sunday, March 17.

Top-seeded Queens (30-4) survived Catawba 96-93 in the semifinals later that evening. This will be the third meeting between the two universities. They split the first two. Both teams are ranked in the top 16 in Division II. Queens won the South Atlantic Conference and AU the Peach Belt. The winner advances to the Elite Eight next week.
