The top-seeded Augusta University Jaguars open their bid for the Peach Belt Conference Tournament crown against Columbus State on Wednesday, March 6, at 7 p.m. at Christenberry Fieldhouse. The Jaguars (23-5) are on a 10-game winning streak and enter as the top seed in the league tourney. Coach Dip Metress's team, ranked 15th in the NCAA Division II media poll and 24th in the coaches' poll, won the PBC regular-season title by a game over second-place USC Aiken. Tonight's winner moves on to the semifinals on Saturday. If AU wins tonight, the PBC semifinals and final will be played at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
